Booking Options

REMINDER: All drivers need a permit or license to take a driving lesson and teens (under 18) must have a first driving lesson with an instructor to validate their permit.

Let's get you behind the wheel - follow these 4 steps:

Review booking options below and make your selection.
Booking with Jacqueline - My calendar is open in 6 month increments - take a look and find one or more lessons that work with your schedule. If you can't find a spot with me - my awesome colleague Carlos might have something to help you get started sooner. If you are organizing lessons for a teen and can't find the 4 required appointment spots on my calendar - please book with another driving school - I will not be able to create additional appointment spaces for your teen.
Booking with Carlos - Carlos is a school photographer so fall is a busy time - he updates his calendar every few weeks.
Send payment (within 24 hours of booking) to confirm your appointment.

We cannot refund payments for same day cancellations but with 48 hours notice we can refund 50% of your payment and with 24 hours notice we can apply 25% to a future lesson.

All lessons take place in a Bubble of Safety vehicle with instructor brake.

Home pick up in Albany, El Cerrito, and Richmond. We ask out of area folks to meet at one of our safe and convenient locations: Albany Library, Albany HS, El Cerrito Plaza BART, El Cerrito HS.

Bubble Wrap - Teen Driving Package with Jacqueline - SOLD OUT until Spring 2026

$680 - Book 4, 90 minute lessons with Jacqueline, scheduled in advance, includes permit protector, new driver stickers, progress report & individualized practice suggestions after each lesson

Requirements: Customers book 4 lessons in advance, spaced out according to BOS training policy & pay in full at time of booking.

Bubble Wrap - Adult Driving Package with Jacqueline - Weekday Appts Available (0nly)

$510 - Book 3, 90 minute lessons with Jacqueline, scheduled in advance, includes progress report & individualized practice suggestions after each lesson

Requirements: Customers book 3 lessons in advance, spaced out according to adult student's preference & pay in full at time of booking.

Single Driving Lesson with Jacqueline - Weekday Appointments Available (only)

$180 - 90 minute lesson, includes new driver stickers, progress report & individualized practice suggestions after each lesson. Please pay immediately after booking.

Single Driving Lesson with Carlos

$160 - 90 minute lesson, includes new driver stickers, progress report & individualized practice suggestions after each lesson. Please pay immediately after booking.

Video Project with Jacqueline

$140 - These driving lessons support a special education project for Zutobi. The videos support other student drivers with examples of their peers in action.

Students participating in this project get the same fabulous driving lesson and we will record short segments (~15 min each) to share with other learners.

Ergonomic Car Fitting

$100, 40 minutes - Ergonomics are not just for the office. Ensuring that your seat, steering column, and mirrors are set perfectly maximizes driver safety, comfort, and performance. Enjoy a personalized ergonomic fitting with Jacqueline at your home (Albany, El Cerrito, North Berkeley) for up to two vehicles.

School and Community Workshops

$300 - Book a workshop for parents of high school students to help parents navigate the teen licensing process.

Parents and caregivers who attend this interactive 60-minute workshop will:

Learn tips to help their student-driver successfully navigate the road to getting their license.

Understand DMV requirements for getting a provisional permit.

Gain important insights into the learning-to-drive process.
Discuss and identify developmental and behavioral indicators that signal readiness for independent driving.
