Who is in the car with you?
My name is Jacqueline Regev and I am the owner and primary instructor with Bubble of Safety Driving School. I'm a retired educator, active community member, mom, and pedestrian. For these reasons and more - I love practicing safe driving skills with new drivers so they can travel on our roads in their own "bubble of safety."
Meet Our Team

My name is Carlos Patino and I loved going on road trips with my dad as a kid. Now as an adult, that passion hasn’t faded. After moving to California from my homeland in Peru, I understood the way of life in California, and what it represents to own a car. I was lucky that I knew how to drive before I decided to leave my country but I was still a beginner, so there were a lot of things I had to re-learn, most importantly, the laws and rules of the road. My goal as a driving instructor is to prepare new drivers to become the best example of good driving, with the knowledge and capability to make appropriate choices. I know we all want to get our driver’s licenses fast and easy, but what it takes to become an excellent driver is patience and a lot of practice, and I think those are the two main virtues we need to follow. Let's try making our roads and commutes more safe and pleasant!
My name is Aviv and I hardly feel more comfortable than when I’m behind the wheel. I got my driver’s license as soon as I turned 16 and haven’t looked back since! The freedom of having a car, of being able to drive up and down the coast on multi-week camping trips, and feeling safe and secure whenever I’m taking my friends from point A to point B, are but some of the many things I appreciate about driving. While I love the freedom granted on the road, I also have the utmost respect for the power of vehicles; driving can be a scary experience! It’s important to learn how your machine works and to really know it before you can eventually master it. Knowing how to function as a driver is one thing, knowing how to feel completely safe behind the wheel is another story. As an avid driver, I’m constantly learning and growing, and I’m ready to share everything I know with you so you can be the safest and most confident driver on the road!
Mommy note - Yes! Aviv is my son, a recent college grad (English major, '26 - Go Bears!), and I am so happy welcoming him to our team! Aviv is available to help adult drivers only, must be 18+.to book with him.
